System integration

System integration is the process of linking together different computing systems and software applications physically or functionally, and as such covers aspects of IT infrastructure on the one hand, and application development and implementation on the other.

Practice-oriented action is euroscript’s maxim: pinpointing potential for improvement, helping customers realize their potential, and implementing measures actively and responsibly. Step by step, euroscript helps its customers integrate new systems into their existing system landscape and expand towards an (enterprise) content management system.

When integrating systems, euroscript creates optimum interfaces to, for instance, existing editing and content management systems or terminology and translation systems. Rules and roles are defined and responsibilities determined in order to ensure maximum cooperation between people and groups. Where necessary, euroscript’s developers will take over complex old data and protect existing information such as terminology databases, documents and text elements.

euroscript’s services in system integration cover:

  • Business process management
    • Process modelling and optimization
    • Workflows
  • Enterprise data management (EDM)
  • Content management systems (CMS), including components such as
    • Digital asset management (DAM)
    • Imaging, capturing and archiving tools
    • Web content management (WCM)
    • Authoring and translation tools

Benefits

Professional integration of content or document lifecycle management (CLM/DLM) – into the business processes and IT support systems – helps companies reduce costs, enables them to focus on their main objectives and core competences and, above all, ensures that the intellectual property so vital to a company's success is made available and protected.
