eDRG euroscript Documentum Report Generator

Delivering Meaningful Insight across your Organization

The euroscript Documentum Report Generator is an EMC certified powerful add-on to help you generate custom reports in a variety of formats. Access real-time data and a wide range of reports and let your employees make decisions based on up-to-date information, which helps drive business success.

End-users can request reports from predefined report definitions. They can see the reports displayed on their computer screen or receive reports automatically in their e-mail inbox or at a specified location inside or outside the Documentum repository. The preferred format can be chosen by the end-user, without the end-user needing any knowledge about DQL, HTML or XSL.

The euroscript Documentum Report Generator has recently entered the EMC Select program. The EMC Select program makes it easier for organizations to acquire pre-tested, third-party "solution completers" that can be purchased with any of EMC hardware, software, and services. More information are available here.

Our Customers Thoughts on eDRG

DSM N.V. is a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials.

We chose the eDRG for its integration with the D2 Client, the ways queries are built for reports, its flexibility in defining report templates, functionality as adhoc reports and scheduled reports and the rules to define whether the final report is sent, stored or opened. Even though there is lots of functionality in eDRG, we found learning eDRG to use reports, build reports and report templates and manage quite easy.
(M. Boon, Solution Designer at DSM N.V.)

UNIVÉ INSURANCE - Univé is one of the largest insurance companies in the Netherlands.

Using the eDRG within the Documentum environment at Univé Insurance, we were able to structure the type of reports our users (at different levels) need. Before using the eDRG for Documentum, we developed software ourselves, to create reports. These reports are now converted into the eDRG. With the information we extract with the eDRG we streamline our business. (P. Kraakman, Application Manager at Univé Insurance).

THE DUTCH DATA PROTECTION AUTHORITY - The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA), part of the Ministry of Justice, supervises the fair and lawful use and security of personal data, to ensure privacy today and in the future.

The biggest advantage of the eDRG is that all users, including senior management, can immediately get the overview they desire in Microsoft Excel® with a single mouse click. Without a difficult and time consuming search job it is also possible to receive the desired report directly in your own mail box. That was the main reason for the Dutch Data Protection Authority purchasing the eDRG. (B. Schippers, ICT Manager at the Dutch DPA).

CITY OF AMSTERDAM

Documentum supports the document flow for the decision-making process of the City of Amsterdam. Documentum enables us to build structured files and to set up the associated processes. Until recently we were not able to create proper management overviews. This was a labor-intensive manual process using ‘cut and paste’. Structural reporting was in fact not possible. The eDRG provided the missing link – with a little bit of technical knowledge we can provide exactly those reports which our users and managers need. These reports have improved the efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making processes. Also the system and application management of Documentum has been simplified by periodic monitoring of critical components of the system." (H. Lindenboom, Application Manager at City of Amsterdam)
