Professional career
Mark Evenepoel started his career in the ICT industry in 1985 as a software developer in an IT company working in the Benelux and Scandinavia. He specialized in computer operating systems and ERP applications. From 1988 to 1994 he was in charge of accounting and financial management, and was appointed Finance Director of the group in 1992.
Mid 1994, Mark joined the Belgium-based Athylon group as a business consultant and director, focusing on ERP system integration within the public sector and professional services industry.
He moved on to Capgemini in 1997 to successfully set up an Oracle development and consulting practice. From 1998 to 2000, he developed Capgemini’s business within the manufacturing, retail, public sector and utilities industries as Account Development Director.
Mid 2000, Mark started as European Division Manager at Saarbrücker Zeitung, a subsidiary of the German Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group; he then moved on to euroscript Luxembourg as Managing Director, where he gradually integrated all content management service activities of Saarbrücker Zeitung.
Since the merger of the French eurodoc/syselog group and euroscript in early 2007, he is Chief Executive Officer of euroscript International. In this position, he is now mainly focusing on group strategy and development.
Mark Evenepoel holds a Bachelor Degree in hotel management as well as a Masters Degree in accountancy.
