D2 plugin creation
This training course will allow you to acquire the knowledge required for the D2 plugin development.
Prerequisites
- D2 client training
- D2 configuration level 1 training
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of EMC | Documentum, especially DFCs

- Understand the technical architecture of D2
- Presentation of the D2 plugin package

The training course is based on the plugin template proposed by C6 and will allow you to learn how to develop plugins in D2. This step, consisting in presenting the plugin packaging in D2, will be accompanied by exercises meant to let you learn the fundamentals through practice.
Media and infrastructure
- The exercises will be in PowerPoint format.
- The trainees will install the plugins on their workstation from the plugin template made available by C6
- The trainees have access to the application via Internet Explorer.
- It's highly recommended that training participants bring along their laptop which should cover the minimum requirements as below.
- Minimum configuration required:
- VMware player 2.5
- 3 GB RAM
- 25 GB free disk space
