euroscript implements Fast-track CMS solution at Astellas Pharma Europe

Bertrange/Eindhoven, 15 December 2009 – euroscript announced today that its subsidiary euroscript Delt Netherlands has won a Fast-track CMS project with Astellas Pharma Europe in the Netherlands.

euroscript's Fast-track CMS solution is the only configurable solution that enables companies to easily deploy a well-fitted CMS within their EMC environment within a couple of weeks. The solution is based on C6 and EMC | Documentum technology.

Within the initial 3-month project phase, euroscript will implement a Fast-track CMS solution focusing on archiving and retrieval functionalities at Astellas’ Technology, Supply Chain and Manufacturing (TSCM) department. Further solution enhancement and roll-out to other departments and subsidiaries of Astellas worldwide will be discussed in early 2010.

Astellas Pharma aims to modernize its document management system, as the system needs to enable document validation and to ensure proper management of status, ownership, version control, and search-find tools.

To meet Astellas’ requirements, euroscript will follow an iterative approach in implementing the solution. euroscript will work closely with representative users of Astellas’ TSCM department to ensure the system suits Astellas’ actual business requirements. The availability of system prototypes for test and validation by Astellas’ representative users will have an immediate effect on user acceptance and productivity. Thus, the system will also prove its effectiveness and adherence to compliance and security requirements.

"We are pleased to support Astellas Pharma Europe in improving their document management system", said René Blanken, Managing Director of euroscript Delt Netherlands bv. "This implementation of our Fast-track CMS solution in the Netherlands demonstrates our competence in realizing secure content and document management solutions as well as our strong expertise in both C6 and EMC | Documentum applications."
